Advanced Fabrication and Construction of Fixed Offshore Structures

Introduction

This 5 course will review in detail the fabrication and construction of fixed offshore structures fixed platforms from A to Z. It will cover all the stages of fabrication from the beginning until the load out and sail away of the structure. The overall objective is to provide participants with deep understanding of the construction of fixed offshore platforms, specifically, the planning, process, fabrication engineering, different methods and concepts of fabrication, different methods of load out, fabrication of small and large jackets and topsides and weighing process and procedures.

This training course will highlight:

  • Fabrication Engineering
  • Jacket Fabrication
  • Topside Fabrication
  • Planning
  • Load out and Sail away

Objectives

By the end of this intensive training course, participants will learn to:

    • Understand in-depth the fabrication of the fixed offshore structure
    • Develop high skills in fabrication methods
    • Execute the fabrication efficiently
    • Learn different methods of load out
    • Understand the importance of engineering and planning in delivering projects

Training Methodology

This training course will utilize a variety of proven adult learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension, and retention of the information presented. The daily workshops will be highly interactive and participative. The illustration will depend on videos and photos.

In addition, the training course delivery emphasizes the use of group discussions and case studies to ensure participants can put the newly learned concepts to use.
