Well Testing Completion and Workover

Introduction

To provide a comprehensive understanding of the physical principles governing the selection of well completion practices. This understanding will improve completion programs and lead to more efficient well completions. Well performance, vertical lift performance, choke performance, and horizontal flow performance will be studied in relation to the well completion and their effect on production rates and completion efficiency. Also the principles and practice of well test analysis from the perspective of deriving properties of reservoir description. Fundamentals of well testing and statistics for the integration of well testing with geological description. Field trip to a fluvial reservoir analog.
